The names and foci of the units taught in Grades 6, 7 and 8 sometimes change from year-to-year, but the standards to which these units are aligned do not. At present, the major units that constitute the TASIS middle school science curriculum are arranged in Dr. Merritt’s classes in this way:
|UNIT||GRADE 6||GRADE 7||GRADE 8|
|Brine Shrimp||Wisconsin Fast Plants||Mud Creek Case Study|
|Engineering & Invention||Cleaning Up, Down & All Around||Beyond Earth|
|Student Investigations||Student Investigations||Student Investigations|
