Today in science: Students worked in their Electricity packets on pages 431, 433, 434, 435, and 436. With the questions on both pages 434 & 435, Dr. M asked students to record their answers on the lined pieces of paper provided in the packet. Most pages introduced students to ‘models’ for electrical circuits–for example, coal trains, water heating systems, and hamburger-eating, hole-digging workers–in which students were asked to think about (and articulate) the similarities and differences between these models (i.e., imaginary circuits) and actual, real electric circuits.
