Some examples of the types of statements that might be found within a section devoted to safety concerns:

    • Example 1: “Wear safety goggles throughout experiment.”
    • Example 2: “Be cautious when using strong acids/bases. Rinse off spills on the skin with water immediately and alert your teacher as soon as possible.”
    • Example 3: “Take steps to prevent your skin from coming into contact with the honey bees (e.g., wear a certified beekeeper suit).”
