Lesson 1 - Monday, May 25
Today in science: After receiving some recently graded assignments and discussing Spring Semester grades, students were given a brief plan for the remaining science lessons.
1. Students will do a DNA modelling activity in one of this week’s science lessons.
2. Students will do a DNA extraction lab in one of this week’s science lessons.
3. Students will complete an open-note Genetics quiz during the last half of Lesson 4 this week.
4. In next Monday’s science lesson (1 June), students will complete an open-note Plant Unit Life Cycle quiz. To prepare for this quiz students will need to print a copy of their revised Plant Life Cycle project.
Homework: As discussed in class, students have been asked to use the many resources provided to them in the Google Science Classroom to revise their Plant Unit Life Cycle projects during this week’s Science homework evenings.
